Community involvement

Community and stakeholder involvement is an important part of the Iluka Road to Woodburn project.

The key objectives of community involvement for the project are to:

  • Understand stakeholder and community issues, values and concerns related to the project.
  • Create stakeholder and community awareness of the project and the need for the upgrade.
  • Incorporate stakeholder and community issues in the design of the project.

The following opportunities are provided for the community to stay involved:

  • A project information line that allows members of the community to speak with the project team during business hours. If the phone is unattended, please leave a message and we will return your call. Phone 1800 258 118 (free call).
  • Written submissions and comments on the project are accepted at any time. For details on where to send submissions see the Contact us page.
  • Community information sessions.
  • Face-to-face meetings between the community and the study team. To organise a face-to-face meeting, phone 1800 258 118 (free call).
  • Community updates and advertisements released at various stages of the project to provide information about project developments.
  • Displays that provide further detail and show maps on the project.

Advertisements, updates and other public information can be found at the Public information section of this website.
