Welcome to the Pacific Highway Upgrade website for the Iluka Road to Woodburn project. The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is investigating the upgrade of approximately 35 kilometres of highway between the Iluka Road turn-off and Woodburn. Planning for this project is being funded by the NSW State Government as part of the $2.2 billion Pacific Highway Upgrading Program.
The concept design for this upgrade was announced on 30 March 2006. The March 2006 community update and the Concept Design Report describes the concept design for the upgrade and how it has been developed.
Please see the Public information section for more detail on the concept design. The project team is currently considering submissions received in response to the display of the concept design.
